Holly

by LizBeth Unknown   Nov 13, 2006

The snow falls like a blanket on the face of Mother Earth.
A recent widow sits mourning softly of her childs birth.
Twas Christmas Eve that very day as the snow just kissed the ground.
She brought forth her only child, yet-her heart made not a sound.

The gray limp body she held in her arms as tears filled her eyes.
She whispered out her girls name: Holly and started up a cry.
A heart forever broken because of her daughters birth.
The snow falls like a blanket on the face of Mother Earth.
