Today i woke with the news your gone,
my thoughts ran wild with the thought of never seeing you again.
Your house, empty and cold like that of a box closing in,
my emotions are numb, no need to be tamed.
You do not deserve to leave everyone like that,
you love kept us all together.
You husband of 60 years is lost without you,
your children love you, forever.
I will miss the hugs, smiles and kisses brought from you by love,
as i look up, i know your looking out for me.
The thoughtful gifts, the delicious foods and the fun times,
you and i had, and we had fun with or without money.
You will be missed while your gone,
But never forget us, as you move on to your new life.
