Lies and Deciet

by Mommy And Me   Nov 13, 2006

With kisses tracing her red, red lips
Immersed in the lies and deciet,
She steadily slid her hand over the locket
Heir to a kindgdom, covered in tears

Thoughts of failing, failing her king
Hid within her smile
Into her pale, pale white skin
She pushed away her fears

Together forever? were those his words
Or were they simply syllables
Before her eyes, he whispered her name
Everlasting?... or just more lies

Over and over, it goes through her mind
Vowing to be there forever
Everlasting... or were her
Red, red lips, emmersed in lies?

Just wondering...did you know that your poem spells WISH THIS TO BE OVER..down the side? I didn't know if you meant it to, but it does and I thought that was cool! Good job!

    An acrostic. :P

That was amazing, I believe it takes talent to pull off something like that. You chose your words nicely.
