Revenge upon myself

by somehow broken   Nov 14, 2006

Everything built up on me,
I couldn't take the strain.
So I blocked you out,
Sorry to cause you that pain.

My body and soul separated.

My lips smiled,
I laughed,
And sang.

Then I'd be alone,
My breaths were unsteady,
Eyes wept,
I felt numb.

So now I hold onto this razor,
And strike it at my leg.
The blood trickles to my feet,
But still I feel no pain.

I press a little deeper,
Praying that will work.
Instead I set revenge upon myself.
