Inside

So theres this girl...

And I'm pretty sure she's not like anyone you've ever met before.
She seems pretty basic, just the girl next door.
But underneath her $100 clothes, theres a t-shirt filled with stains.
And underneath her smile, I see a girl in pain.
I see her suffering, from the mistakes made in the past.
I see her laughing, trying to cover the life she has.
She looks out her window, and watches life pass her by,
then turns around, and soaks her pillows as she cries.
Her friends roll their eyes, they don't even know.
She just goes along with it, theres nowhere else to go.
You don't even know, I'm sure you can't see.
That the bruised up, t-shirt staining girl....
was once me.
