Waiting for a Miracle

by rachael   Nov 20, 2006

I look up to the clear sky
But the weather is changing
Clouds are coiling around the sun
Suffacating the symbol of life

Right before my eyes
I see the world go dark
So dark I can\'t see anything
I sense the death around me

The temperature drops almost instantly
Not just my surroundings
but also withen my soul
Frost starts forming in my hair

The grass that was beneath my feet
Shrivels up dramatically
It passionatly begs for life
But it dies like we all will

The ground also disentegrates
Nothing is there
Not even the sweet smell
Of the forest before a storm

I am floating in a sea of nothing
Numb from everything a person feels
I would be scared shitless
If i had any emotion whatsoever

I don\'t even have a memory
A recollection of the past
I very well could be dead
Was there a time before this

I still float aimlessly
The agonizing pain of waiting
I must find the patience
Waiting for a miracle
