I study the fire And realize as i watch This fire is a metaphor It mirrors life It mirrors love The more you add to it The higher it goes The more you add to it The more intense it is The more you add to it The more sparks it creates The more you add to it The more rapid it becomes The more you add to it The longer it lasts It eventually fades To a small flame And at that moment Someone's life is over
