All We Ask

by Ethan Marshall   Nov 21, 2006

All We Ask

Through all this darkness
We see how we will end our lives
And how we will destroy all the unforgotten lies
Cutting memories loose and letting scars arise to the surface
And hating all we see through our crying eyes
Looking in a mirror we feel ugly and unwanted
Denied our dreams because of who we are
Left wishing and weeping upon broken slate
All we ask is to be accepted without being made fun of
For who we are and how we dress and act
You judge us before you even know us
And blow our lives away like dust
Without a second though of what you could truly be doing
Or how you are cutting up our hearts
With all your painful words filled with hate
In truth your the only one that is killing us
And destroying all that we have
Until atlast theres no use in life and death embraces
Embracing our torn souls for a second chance
A chance without all this horrific pain
