Smile

Smile.

Simple word,
Simple action.
Never gave it much thought,
Went through the motions.

Today, I smiled.
Not just a smile,
A whole-hearted Smile.
I was beaming,
For no reason at all.

I realized,
suddenly,
how wonderful a smile is,
A true, honest-to-goodness smile.
Brightens a whole room.

Began to wonder,
Why, for so long,
I denied myself this simple pleasure.

Why bother without reason?
Then, I realized,
Why need a reason?
No reason, is just as good as any.

So, I smiled.
For no reason at all,
Except for the sake of smiling.
And was shocked to see,
How fast the fog cleared up.

How fast I went back to being me.

Many people don't realise the power of a real smile, fake smiles are bad but real smiles like u said can just make the fog disappear.
