Down in the Woods

by Bradley Peter   Nov 22, 2006

Down in the woods, where nobody goes
There's a little secret, that nobody knows
The secret's a secret, so you can't tell
And if you do, you're sure to go to hell

So button those lips, and tell not a soul
And off we go, deep into the rabbit hole
Where you'll hear flowers, and animals talk
The queen of hearts, and playing cards walk

Follow the white rabbit, whom says he's late
Into he's land of madness, which you'll await
Into a world, which makes no sense
All the while, keeping you in utter suspense

Meet the Caterpillar, whom smokes all day
He sits on a mushroom, and rambles away
Mostly he speaks, in confusing rhyme
All the while, the white rabbit is losing time

Meet Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
Meet the Cheshire Cat that's never glum
Drink tea with the Hatter, and Mr Hare
Even meet the Walrus, but only if you dare

And at the end of the day, make a safe return
Come back ready, and willing to learn
Never speak, of what you've heard and seen
In fact, lets pretend, as if you've never been

I wouldn't say this is really funny but it was very well-written and it did make me smile reminding me of the movie, and making me question why Disney allowed a smoking Caterpillar in their movie? LOL Nice write, !
