She fakes a smile everyday
Keeps sticking it on
Though it covers the frown
It doesn't make her very strong

She hates how everyone looks at her
As if she's oh, so strange
It's been that way forever
I guess some things never change

She goes to school everyday
Does bad on the tests
She doesn't try very hard
She already knows she's not the best

She loves the boy that will never love her back
The boy that is her world
He doesn't even know she exists
