Chains that just won't break

These chains around your heart wont break
They keep every one out
They squeeze at it until it bleeds
Your heart is broken
Torn from you

Chains surround
Pain, Hurt, Blood, its what you see and feel
And its these chains around your heart that cause it
Chains cutting the skin
Making you bleed within

You cry
Every Night
Waiting, hoping for them to break
But when you try they just pull harder reminding you
And when someone comes and tries to help
You fear for them and push them all away
Your guarding your heart
You see others happy and nag at the chains
Ever so lightly

But these chains around your heart just wont break
Years pass, days go by.
And still the chains are too tight
Then one day you cant take it anymore
You do the only thing you can. You let the chains pull at your heart
Until its no longer there

The chains around your heart that couldn't break have...
And your no more.

These chains took not only your heart but you as well
And now another feels the pain
Of the chains that just wont break.
