Shine

by Run out of words   Nov 24, 2006

Out of the sunlight,
a figure darted at me so bright.
With the light I tried to fight,
So of the heavenly figure I could take a sight.

The heavenly figure everyone wants to be,
it's shining honesty,
touched me truly.
but my heart was stung badly,
when I could see his face only barely.

Those blonde curls,
Made my heart whirl,
but I am merely just a girl,
would he notice me in this big world?

I long for a glance,
Put me deeper in this trance,
You have already enchanted me with your romance,
and in the air I imagine us dance.

But then again I remember,
which makes me go somber,
you shall always linger,
however I don't know whether to you I am just a grain in a bowl of ginger,
or I too light in your heart an ember.
