Petals of a Crimson Rose

by BeautifulxMess   Nov 24, 2006

Petals of a crimson rose fall,
one by one.
A heart clicks like a metronome,
tick, tick, tick.
She runs through a thorn bush,
she stops.
How the fairest one can be
so cold;so cruel.
She hurt the hearts she heals
bruised;beaten.
Guilt she saw in her own reflection
ugly;bleak.
She cries like they did before her;
pain, it really hurts.
Her people wanted her to leave
die;burn.
She annihilated their dreams,
shattered;broken.
Petals of a crimson rose fall,
so does she.
Blood runs all around her face
she deceived her friends.
