My Buttercup

You are my Buttercup,
My friend of eight years,

And when the day comes,
That you are no longer here,

I will still remember you,
Till the day I die,

You are my cat,
Who is always there,

My best friend till the end,
That will never change,

No other pet,
Rather cat or dog,

Will ever replace you,
In my heart,

You'll always be my favorite,
My little cat named Buttercup.

    I seen the title it was in and thought I would try something that I normally don't review, which is friendship poems. I'm really glad I did.

    I liked this poem, it was cute and sweet, but also let you know that sometimes we have to let go of the things we truly love.

    I enjoyed the twist that this poem had as your best friend was a cat, No one would have thought of that. It was really well done and other than a few syllable problems, It was very well done all over.

    I once had a cat named buttercup. I wish I coulda wrote a poem like this for her, and HER UNDERSTAND IT! Lolll.

    Very cute., i felt he flow could use.. work. and a few lines were to short but overall very cute. i like how it was aobut ur kitty. i feel the same way about meh puppeh. -bullwrinkle x33- i calleth him bullywrinkles. lol. nvm. but its vute. Good job.
