Heart Love

by Kasie   Nov 27, 2006

I miss the times we use to spend,
Holding each other all night.
One of those nights it had to end,
And I watched you drive out of sight.

You was tired and very ill,
So you drove quickly home.
It was dark, and you didn\'t want to stop,
So, up the hill you drove along,
And about that time a semi reached the top.

You swerved to miss him,
But you swerved too far,
You hit another truck,
And totaled out the car.

As the car crashed to the ground,
You heard a girl scream out in pain,
You would never forget that horrid sound,
And the throbing of your brain.

You layed there in agony,
Awaiting your destiny.
The other truck was sat on fire,
Burnt from every door down to every tire.

I recieved a call at 4am,
That you may not make it through the night,
I jumped in the car, and raced to where you were at.
I ran inside and down the hall, to finally be at your side.
You looked up at me and smiled and said \"I love you with all my heart.\"

And as I write this dreadful poem,
With tearful eyes I cry,
I held you within my arms,
And watched you slowly die.

As I sat and watched
The only light go out,
I knew you wouldn\'t make it,
I had serious doubt.

Now before I leave this inkfilled page,
I wanted you to know.
That no matter where your at,
Deep within my golden heart you will always be its glow.
