Waiting

Waiting

I\\\'ve been waiting for so long.
So long time is running out.
I've been so busy you know.
I forgot what I was writing about.

The sun has stopped showing up.
The rain drops get fatter and fatter.
I havn't seen your face in forever.
But really though, I'm sure it doesn't matter.

I know you wanna talk.
But how can I anticipate?
I can't wait around for a letter in 2 months.
You know that's what I hate.

By the time you reply to me,
I'll be reading a new book.
I'll be playing a new game.
I'll be having a new look.

I've stuck to you for so long.
But that's no way to live.
There's not much I get in return
For how I much I give.

We've been friends for so long.
But the sun has turned so mug.
I'm getting to the point
Where I'm tempted to pull the plug.

I know people have busy lives.
But what's the deal?
You told me to keep in touch.
Are you for real?

I called out to you,
You promised to reply.
All I heard were echoes
Of my anticipated cry.

Someday we'll talk more.
Now I don't even care.
But perhaps when you finally respond
I'll be far away else where.

....but I'll still be waiting.

Was this about a poem of a close friend?....if it is then that sucks because even if at times some people want to rely only on themselves, its good to have atleast someone to talk to. Nice poem...oh and i read your quotes the one about being weird is hilarious.

Wow. I can feel in this poem that you're very sad and you're losing touch with someone important. =[ You had a great flow and great choice of wording.Keep it up! 5/5
