Dancing With Danger

by Carrie   Nov 29, 2006

She took the gun in her hand

Held it to steady to her head

With one finger on the trigger

She ready to end the life she dreds

Her hands Shake as her mind races

Gripping the handle hard and tight

She tries so hard to escape the pain

That only pushes her harder to fight

She dances in her own tears

As the moon shines through the window

No one to see her leave this world

No one there to give her back her glow

A heart falling to pieces

With no hope of staying together

For she dances with the danger

Hoping to end this fight forever

With her finger on the trigger

The dancing slowly comes to and end

As she cocks it, while shaking slowly

She is ready to begin

Pulling it back slowly yet hard

Gun goes off, with a single shot

Falling to the floor

She lays alone with all she's got

An empty barrel and broken heart...
