The Warmth of You

Slowly comes the rain
To a bright cloudless day,
Quickly blows the wind
From a northerly way.
When the snow clouds come
They chill my heart
Like the void that's left
When we're apart.
You are my sun,
You shine for me.
When my day is dark
You let me see.
If my heart is cold
And my world is blue,
Like the sun is warm
Your love warms too.

    I loved those last two quaterns.
    They are so simple and so beautiful.
    You don't dress them up, just say what you need to say, pure and simple.
