Torn from the Inside

by Holly   Nov 30, 2006

She saw it everyday
the shiny object on her dresser
the ot fabric
rubbed against her wrist
but she had to wear it
to hide them
gently running the brush
through her long red hair
and breathing deeply
not knowing
what was happening
she was torn from the inside
and no one could heal that
not even the pain she caused
she could never heal her heart
the pain hed caused her
was everlasting
no one could know
they couldnt see the endless scars
night after night
she would penetrate her skin
dripping for hours
wanting to die
and not having the courage
to go that far
only time would tell
her spirit was weak
and losing hope
