Rejection

by Wreak Havoc   Dec 1, 2006

As she looks in the mirror
And she sees her mother’s mistake
Her and all that she fears
Come face to face

As she reaches for the knife
And presses carelessly on her skin
She begins to take the life
Of her one and only friend

Her mascara is running
Her tears begin to drown her
Her body is numbing
Only death surrounds her

She begins to feel the pain
Of her mothers rejection
She goes deeper into the vein
This is her only affection

She looks upon the incision
And wipes away the tears
This is her best decision
She’s made all these years

This feels so real because it's like a story.

i thought you did a great job with that stanza and also the poem, though at times i felt you used unknown or random vocab so it would rhyme. but i deffintly loved this.

    nice.
