Part 3: Anything

by KelseyinWonderland   Dec 2, 2006

You hear the screams
But you ignore.
The fatal dreams
That came before.

The many times
You fell before the dark.
The many crimes
That pierced my broken heart.

Somber sighs
Darkened clouds.
Mournful cries
Sounded aloud.

Close your eyes
And learn to deny.
The foolish lies
Written across the sky.

The trembling stars
Guide the way.
To my scars
From yesterday.

Dying inside
Melting reproval.
Standing off to the side
To view the heartless removal.

Redundant gestures
And incessant games.
Hatred festers
For the one to blame.

Burned into your soulless heart
And breaking it in two.
The answers aren't far apart
Hidden inside of the truth.

A struggle for attention
A battle against fate.
To release all inner tension
But the time for forgiveness is much too late.

A feeling weak and lonely
No one will ever know.
I just wish that they could see me
The person that doesn't want to go.

And if you are willing to lay down and die
In a silver silent grave.
Then I won't hide or cry
For you I'll be brave.

Whisper in my ear
And tell me what I have become.
Wipe away my tears
And tell me what danger is to come.

Teach me all that you have learned
And teach me how to smile.
Show me that for which you've yearned
And love me once in a while.
