Forgetting You

by Carrie   Dec 3, 2006

Friends aren't suppose to treat each other the way that you do
The way that you treat me no one should have to feel
That's why I am forgetting our friendship
And finding another one that is real

I have tried for so long to make our friendship work
But you turn around everything that I have to say
You make it hard for me to go through
And face each and every single day

At times I feel so tense
At times I just want to punch you
But no matter how good that would make me feel
I know that it's something I shouldn't do

I really want to though
To prove to you that in a fight I would win
I'd watch you go down in one hit
Because you are only bones and skin.

But I am no longer gonna let you get to me
I am going to forget you
And live my life the way that I want to
