Bitter

by Jeff   Dec 4, 2006

It never changes,
No matter what they will say.
Things will get better.
In just which way?

You tread the storm,
Lost in the abyss.
Your body loses form.
What did you miss?

Cuts can now heal,
blood is a cure.
Who cares how it feels?
You couldn't want more.

The world has turned their backs.
Your blind in God's eyes.
Pestilence attacks.
You fade in disguise.

You fake the smiles,
the laughs and the cheers.
But all the while,
here your mind sears.

Is it to much to ask,
for a little assistance?
I'm aware it's a task,
but there's no resistance.

I grieve and I weep,
But you don't understand.
It's not attention I want,
It's the help I demand.
