Clued Out

by Jeff   Dec 6, 2006

So you thought you knew it all?
It's funny you should say.
Until the day you start to fall,
You never know the way.

It's the way her lips press on yours,
How he holds you in his arms.
Days are brightened when it pours,
In the freezing, the feeling warms.

You never realize what you had,
Till what you had is no more.
At times it makes you mad,
But your the one who shut the door.

What happens after death,
Who will ever really know?
What matters is the last breath,
What you have to show.

You can hide behind masks,
Or save peoples lives.
You can choose to put off tasks,
Or you can determine who survives.

You can't play creator,
And you can't always win.
Your here to show the greater,
Your true self from within.
