Suicide of the Fallen

by KelseyinWonderland   Dec 5, 2006

You close the door only to find,
A life you thought you left behind.

They stare at you and you turn away,
You leave them speechless, nothing to say.

You turned your back and now they're gone,
And you sit in silence all alone.

The blood continues to fall from the puncture you created,
Scars align opened wounds caused by those you hated.

Never did they touch you but they caused your pain.
You feel the blood continue to drain.

How did it ever end up this way,
You let them take you, mold you like clay.

You became a fake just like the rest,
You failed it, you failed your own test.

Now you feel yourself drift away from life,
You still clutch the bloody knife.

Your tears fall and fall through the haze,
Blurring your vision in a bloodstained daze.

Falling back to hit the ground,
You finally experience the peace that you have just found.

Moments of pain for a lifetime of peace,
No more blood, just sweet release.

Sweet suicide comes bringing the rain,
No more hurt, no more pain.

You smile at last and shut your eyes,
Your last view of the purple skies.

The knife falls to the ground with an empty echo,
You see it shimmer and it already knows.

It gave you a momentary relief,
It gave you hope and newfound belief.

You whisper such a silent prayer to whoever will hear,
That you died in peace, not in fear.

A note you hold close to your heart,
Thanking the ones that did their part.

Thanking all that helped you die,
Thanking all that made you cry.

They made your suicide easy and fast,
The pain they caused could never last.

In your eyes you have won,
You are dead, but they had their fun.
