Love's storm

by Flying Phoenix   Dec 5, 2006

Whispering conspiracies wander on the wind
Fragrance falls and leaves its taste
Glimpse that dewdrop glistening small
Along the dull ground the caterpillars crawl
Around this sight of unbroken love
His fateful eyes surrender and sigh
Heralding the heavens and opening of the sky
Raindrops splatter scattering the dust
Trickling down their faces caught again
The grey it covers to soon dusk
Skin wet and dark in the cooling light
Held once, once and never
As closes the night
Upon the day breaks forth a storm
Crying with wails the wind blows on
Throughout this scene of tormented lives
Their sorrow now washed
Cleansed with rain
The two of them part
Alone

Alone again.
