She moved on...

by Bittersweet Sundown   Dec 6, 2006

In love and fear,
She sheds a tear.
Thinking of how they were,
And now he loves HER.

He's moved on,
It's been so long.
She sits and stares,
This just isn't fair.

They were in love,
She looks at the sky above.
Wiping the tears from her eyes,
Thinking about all his lies.

He said it was better off this way,
But he was wrong, she looks worse everyday.
All she feels is pain,
Thank god she hasn't gone insane.

As she starts to walk,
She hears a guy talk.
His voice sounding soft and sweet,
Like a guy she wouldn't mind to meet.

They start to hang out,
She forgot all about,
The guy who once had her heart,
The one who tore her apart.

She falls for this guy,
Because he doesn't lie.
He's too perfect to be true,
Since he says "I love you too".

Years go by,
Still, she doesn't cry.
The boy who has lied,
Now wants to die.

He lost her because of his mistakes,
He'll do whatever it takes.
She told him to move on,
And its time to say "So long"

She doesn't love him anymore,
Because he made her heart so sore.
This new guy treats her right,
She's found someone better to hold her tight...
