Love the Enemy

by Amani   Dec 7, 2006

The killings of the innocent people
The blood sheds on the ground
The shattered hearts, The broken tears
But still they won't back down

The bombings and explosions
The hospitals are packed
Which country is responsible?
They both are for a fact

How hard could it possible be
To raise a friendly voice?
To apologize to the other
For making the wrong choice

How threatening could it be
To extend a loving hand?
To learn from your mistakes?
To be the better man?

Yet you leave your people to suffer
And cry those lonely tears
As you watch these seldom days
Slowly turn to years

Learn to love the enemy
By making the right choice
And slowly watch those sad tears
Transform to tears of joy

To me its crystal clear
Your both the ones to blame
It takes one to keep the hate strong
The other will just do the same

Ask yourself some questions
Is it worth dying for?
Why don't we increase the love?
And cut down on the war?
