Remember those days in elementary
We both were so young
So much has changed
So much time has passed
Yet it doesn't seem that long
I remember it was just like yesterday
When you approached me with a smile
You held my hand at recess
And never failed to let me
Cut you in single file
Remember the snacks we shared
Under the playground everyday
And when you told me
When you and I grew older
We both would run away
Do you remember picture day
When we both made silly faces
Like it really didn't matter
We both were afraid to take them home
Because we knew our parents
Wouldn't be too flattered
And now every things so different
In high school we walk passed
Each other in the hall
No vibe, no memories alive
Its almost like
We never went through elementary at all
