Mommy and mama

A poem of gay marriages

Mommy please tell me
Why everyone stares.
Wheny ou and mama hold hands
And kiss like other pairs.
Why don't you have a ring?
Why do you cry at night?
You laugh and you smile,
Like other couples you fight.
You've spent 10 years together.
No marriage, why not?
Why can't you have it all,
You've never asked for alot.
Mommy I made a wish tonight
On the first star in sight
For couples like you to live happily
And for everything to be alright.
