Broken dreams, restless sleep
Smiling mask that inside weeps
Cast adrift on Lonely Sea
A Life apart you've given me

Cold rain tears, empty bed
Penned love letters left unread
Time's disdain, monotony
A life apart you've given me

Drumbeat heart, emotions soar
Warm embrace, Love's bright shore
Hope abounds, hurt recedes
This life apart won't conquer me
