and yet taken as the entire world
just a slight smile, pulled up at the corners
means everything to this lonely girl
she thought she was loved
liked just this time
she thought that her love poem
finally would rhyme
a nasty rumor had to be exposed
it put her in distress
that her perfect guy
could get lost in such a mess
she couldn't believe it would be true
not after what he had said
