On My Knees

I turned my back on You,
and pushed You away,
i turned to the world,
but it led me astray.

I blamed You,
for what i caused,
for what i have been through,
and for all my flaws.

You told me You loved me,
You told me You cared,
the hard times i went through,
i wish that we shared.

When nobody would have me,
You took me in,
even when i broke Your heart.

Here i am Lord,
fallen to my knees,
asking for Your forgiveness,
and trying so hard to please.

You are my Lord,
You are my King,
on my knees Father,
for You i sing.

You are my Savior,
my closest best friend,
my heart of tone,
You have begun to mend.

Please forgive me Jesus,
forever i will repay,
the heart break i have caused You,
and for turning the other way.

On my knees, i bow before You,
i give You all my heart,
and everything i am and have,
from now on we will never be apart.
