I always wished for someone to come along
Always wished someone would like me and me like them
Always wished that someone would look past my differences
Always wished i could be somebody's someone

My wish came true
Thats were we wind up to you
Right in front of me

Yet i didn't believe you
I didn't even think
It could be true
That this was a joke for you

I started to notice you
Wherever i went
I watched you in the class
If you didn't at the time
Waiting for you a phone call
Or for you to call my name
It all started with a wish
Now its reality

And of coarse you didn't wait

Now i wish you would come back
I wish my friends would understand
I wish i could have somebody
I wish it was you
I wish you could look at me the same way you use to

I wish i followed my heart

But i guess not all wishes come true
And i guess the ones that do
Are the ones you really need
So take um and hold on tight
Cause love doesn't come easy it might flow away
