Let Me Have Their Pain

It’s a simple process of elimination,
Crossing out everything dear to me,
Erasing memories of time gone by,
It’s only Him I want to see.

All over the world there is suffering,
Pain so inadequate for one to bare,
I ask you Lord to save them,
To make this world fair.

I do not mind the pain,
Transfer it into me,
God there’s nothing I want more,
Then for those blind children to see.

Please deafen me today,
Let me be the outcast,
Simply make it easy,
Their lives are quickly past.

Lord please help me save them,
Because it’s unfair for them to feel,
Cancer for the young,
Old age being such a steal.

Give their pain to me, Lord,
Let it take me away,
I’m not scared to die anymore,
Because that’s how I felt today.
