Driving Lessons

by Twisted Heart   Dec 16, 2006

Unless you have your Will in order
And have set your life to right
Never take it upon yourself
To teach your son to drive.

For just as surely as you do
He'll stop your heart from ticking
And any last advise you have
won't be the stuff that's sticking.

He'll fiddle with the radio stations
Trying hard to find the one
That has the best reception
And won't stop until its done.

With one hand on the steering wheel
And the other at your back
He'll laugh at your clenched fists
And tell you to relax.

His eyes will dart just everywhere
While he's talking on the phone
And your breath does not release
Until the car is parked at home.

Then you'll have to sit a moment
And survey the hole you made
As your foot went through the floorboard
When you tried to BRAKE!!!!!!!!!!
