My Greatest Fall

by **MIMI**   Dec 17, 2006

Trusting has been hard, you did turn your back on me,
I was really crying for help, but trouble you did see.
Irresponsible little girl, she can get herself out of this mess,
Involved in drugs and crime, now i love you even less.
My little perfect girl, she is everything i never wanted her to be,
She doesnt bother with me, so why should her make her tea.
Let her starve, she is probably stealing and on drugs anyway,
I wont wait up again, she hasnt been home all day.
Ill tell my so called friends about my terrible young daughter,
Shes a real druggy now, a year ago you could never fault her.
Ill turn my back on her, let her go to her mothers place,
See how she handles the grief, give her a good slap in the face.
I wonder where my daughters gone, ive not seen her for 3 weeks,
Shes not been home, her possessions have gone, then the gossip starts to leak.
Your daughter is with her mother, she moved 2 weeks ago,
She was down and depressed, she was feeling so very low.
You beautiful little girl is still not completely whole,
She got the grades she wanted, but there is still a missing role.
2 years on, she still has never had a call,
From the father that she loved, but has cause her greatest fall.
Maybe your not that man you are portrayed to be,
A man of many words, but people do not get the chance to see.
the daughter you left behind, who is living in your past,
she sits at home at night, killing herself very fast.
You do not know your little girl, likes a good old drink,
Shes doesnt trust anyone anymore, so she has no sorrows to sink.
No one to let her down, or to turn their back on her again,
She only trusts her mother, becuase her mother took away the pain.
