Unnamed

by Jonathan Blair   Dec 18, 2006

What would you do have there be an awkward silence.
Just you and I.
Staring into one anothers eyes.
Knowing we cant touch our lips together.
Knowing it would just hurt someone else.
For some reason you lean in.
For some reason I did the same.
Our lips touched.
Our hands touched.
Then you pulled away with tears in your eyes.
I looked you in the eyes and said.
I Love You.
Then the tears streamed out of your eyes.
They rolled down your face.
Rolled passed your nose.
Rolled past your lips.
I reached up with my hand and caught it.
Just before it hit the ground.
You looked at me.
You said to me.
I Love You, But i'm not supposed to.
