Rusted Heart

by Jonathan Blair   Jan 16, 2007

The heart I have,
Has become rusted,
With all of the Love you used,
The Love I've given up,
Just to be by you,
Just to hug you,
Just to kiss you,
Just for a moment of your time,
Its been used gently,
At times has been thrown,
But gently you threw,
This heart of mine,
Rusted with pain and sorrow,
Needs to move on,
But move on I shall not,
I refuse,
I deny,
I do not want to move on,
I want you and I,
I want all of your time,
Not just a moment or two.
Many times I have thought about it,
Thought about moving on,
Tried,
And failed,
Rusting my heart even more,
Rusting it to the point of dissolving,
All I ask is a little more time,
Time to heal my heart,
Time to make this all better,
Then we will see,
See about moving on,
Try to make it easier.
