The Long Road

by Jonathan Blair   Mar 28, 2007

You kept leaving me,
Finding someone new,
Then coming back to me,
It must be a game to you,
You tried to come back one more time,
I decided to put myself out on the limg again,
And once again,
Someone new came about,
I watched you take shots from him,
I knew it would happen,
I stood waiting for you,
Just like I always do,
Watched you walk that Long Road,
Back to me,
Right into my arms,
But this time it wont work,
I've had enough,
Your here to stay,
Or your not here at all,
I Love You,
I want you,
I need you,
But I dont want you to leave,
Cant have you leave,
I need you to be able to breath,
Need you there for someone to talk to,
To laugh with,
To hug,
To kiss,
Someone who will not only help me,
But except my help,
Your broken,
And theres nothing that Love cant fix,
Stay and youll be better,
You will not have that broken wing,
I'll mend it,
Even if it takes me a century,
Let me wash all the hurt away,
All I ask is that you stay.
