The Face

I look in the mirror
And what do I see?
I tear stricken face
Staring back at me

I blood covered face
With big blue eyes
But the eyes are red
From all they've cried

The face is retching
Retching in pain
Retching over and over
Again and again

The face has a mouth
Open wide in a scream
This scream never ends
Or so it seems

I wish it would close
This gaping mouth
But it can't
It just keeps crying out

I stare into those eyes
And then I see
That the face in the Mirror...
That face is me
