Unknown Friends.

Unknown Friends.

For the ones who died at war.
Who's family's and friends were horridly tore.
For the ones who fought for me.
Who's tears and blood set me free.

For the ones who put their life at stake..
So, I can treasure each moment I make.
Tortured and broken day by day.
As they slowly drifted away.

Further from their homeland,
Further from the beaches with sand.
Further from the beauty of earth,
Deeper into the waste and dirt.

All for you, And All for me.
All for us, just to be free.
They deserve the best, Yet they got the worst.
As heaven damns us with wars horrid curse.

Those who return, become a new man.
Not the same as when they left this land.
They've seen it all, they've been through hell..
They've stood back up after they fell.

They've proved me wrong in all they do..
For they're strangers who love me and you.
Fighting for us months on end,
Becoming all my unknown friends.
