Get a Life

by Bonlyn   Dec 22, 2006

Get a life you say, as I struggle to understand how other things have replaced the passion that was once lavished on me.
Misunderstood intentions meant to strengthen our bond are left to decay in the hostile air that surrounds us.
Middle ground is what I seek.
Actions not placating words are what I long for.
Insecure is what I feel.
The truth hurts but I must let go the strangle hold that I have on you.
The harsh words you say will not extinguish my light., For I am free.
Free to live with you, not for you.
Free to love you, not possess you
Free to love myself for the woman I am and the wife I try to be.
Free..
