It's funny how laughter heals the heart
Releases the soul
Strengthens our bond
Makes life that much sweeter

It's funny how a kind word makes my day brighten
My spirit enlighten
My passion undying
My love eternal

It's funny how quick we can destroy that love with flippant declarations spoken in jest.
The funny little words that can wound the soul
Break the spirit
Kill the passion
