For every lost child,
For every terrible day,
For every time someone cries,
For every dream torn away.
For every dissaproving glance,
For every mean remark,
For every abused child,
For every broken heart.
For every person without joy,
For every child considered dumb,
For every act of treachery,
We will overcome.
