Enigma

by APoeticLetdown   Dec 24, 2006

I don't mean to be redundant but you don't know me.
And I'm not being presumptuous in that statement.

You can live with me all my life
You can know all my secrets
You can write a book and name it after me
But you won't pay attention to the details
Because my thoughts aren't spoken
And they aren't thought
But, are told in every step I take
And unless you are the click in my heel
Or the shoes on my feet
You will not pay attention to that detail

So talk all you want
Try and tell me who I am
But I won't fall victim to your words
Because I am stronger than that

I have more courage in my eyes than you can imagine.
I have more fire in my heart than you can fathom.
I have more beauty in my soul than you can understand.
I have more depth in my mind than you can comprehend.
