Tear

by Alessandro   Dec 24, 2006

The thing that runs down my face every day,
The cold drop as it falls into my lonely hands,
The stinging and pain of my sorrow in one drop,
But it becomes worse for thousands follow.
The thing that brings me to my knees when nothing else could,
The slow running death of my soul as it seeps out my eyes,
The life draining liquid that leads me slowly to my death,
An incureable poison has left these drops to keep coming.
A poison only created by the heart,
And for it to be cured my heart must cease to beat.

-A very powerful narrative. You have once again explored your sub-conscious and have become more familiar with repetition and wider vocabulary. Well done :]
