The poem that follows I wrote again for the same friend I wrote A tragic loss for when Justice was finally done.
Whats done is done ,
theres no turning back the clock.
Those men cannot hurt again ,
brought to court and stood in the dock.
Justice as finally been done ,
they've now been put away.
Lets hope it is life they serve ,
and behind bars they will stay.
Crime they were no strangers to ,
let loose to do even more.
Will they really serve their sentence ?,
how will the public know for sure ?.
Lets hope lessons will be learnt ,
in order to stop such crime.
It won't bring those already lost back ,
but at least in this case the men are doing time.
