A Place Called Home

by No Need For A Name   Dec 28, 2006

I'm driving down this road today
Only highway in my memory
That takes me back to where I'm from
Where I haven't been since I took a run

(Chorus)
Now I've been traveling on low
For about an hour or so
To find a place called home, a place called home
But will I find
What I left behind
A place called home, a place called home

Now back on these streets where I memorized
All the paths and places I would hide
None of these front doors are open wide
To greet me back into their lives
I don't blame them because I only remember
The back door in the cold of November
Running out into the night
Not looking back at the porch light

(Chorus)
Now I've been traveling on low
For about an hour or so
To find a place called home, a place called home
But will I find
What I left behind
A place called home, a place called home

A place called home!
Is where I want to go!
A place called home!
A place I'll never know!
A place called home!
Is where I want to go!
A place called home!
I still will never know!

(Chorus)
Now I've been traveling on low
For about an hour or so
To find a place called home, a place called home
But will I find
What I left behind
A place called home, a place called home
